Due to growing our teams onsite we are actively seeking suitably qualified Electrical Tradespersons.

Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, the goal is to deliver safe and efficient electrical services working on the surface and in underground locations, which include the repair, servicing, and maintenance of Newmont Tanami's mobile equipment and fixed plant electrical infrastructure.
This infrastructure encompasses, but is not limited to, Sandvik drills, Normet, R2900xe CAT loaders, Epiroc equipment, raise bore motors, drives, transformers, instrumentation, power distribution networks, substations, distribution boards, and related components.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Essential qualifications include Electrical Trade certification with post-trade experience.
Experience in the mining industry, particularly in underground operations, is highly regarded.
Profound knowledge of the relevant subject matter is critical.
Exceptional communication abilities, encompassing both verbal and written skills.
Competence in task analysis and understanding of safety and job specifications is required.
Advanced problem-solving capabilities are also necessary.
Possession of a valid Australian vehicle license is mandatory.
Working Conditions
The position is FIFO, operating on an 8:6 work roster with hiring points from Darwin, Alice Springs, Perth, and Brisbane.
