ACT Recycling is a family-owned recycling company located at Mugga Resource Management Centre, specializing in managing and recycling construction and demolition waste.
Using a range of heavy equipment and machinery, we operate a fixed and mobile crushing plant which processes concrete, brick, and asphalt to make a range of recycled products, as well as a fixed sorting plant where we sort and recycle construction and demolition waste.
On site, we operate a range of mobile plant including stackers, screens, mobile crushers, excavators, front-end loaders, and trucks.
About the Role Site vehicle, all tools and safety gear supplied. This role will require the successful applicant to conduct welding and fabrication tasks onsite for mobile and fixed plant, as well as regular preventative maintenance and breakdown maintenance throughout the site.
The successful applicant must be experienced in completing welding tasks and proficient in repairing and maintaining fixed plant and equipment.
This role does not require a boilermaker qualification but requires someone competent in multiple welding techniques.
Saturday shifts and overtime available when required.
Responsibilities and Experience: Competent welding and fabrication skills are essential.Experience working with trucks, fixed and mobile plant, conveyor belts, screening, and crushing systems would be highly regarded.High level of understanding of the concepts of preventative maintenance and diagnostic skills.High level of attention to detail.Able to work individually and as part of a team.Work with a strong commitment to WHS and safe work practices.Forklift license, Working at Heights, Dogmen, and First Aid would be highly regarded.If you feel you meet the requirements, have the right attributes, and are a highly motivated individual, please send through a current resume by clicking the Apply button.
