Job Advert: Supply SEN Teaching Assistant/Support
Hours/Days: Part Time Pay: .00 per day Location: Leeds School Type: Mainstream, SEN, SILC and SEMH Start: January 2025 - ongoing supply work Veritas Education - Leeds SEN department are looking for new, committed and energetic part time supply teaching assistants to join their team
This could be a great opportunity for anyone currently studying and attending University a couple of days each week, someone who has another job on the side or just wanting specific workdays each week
The Role:
Helping cover sickness calls or when schools require extra staff, this could be pre-booked or potentially on the day with a morning call
Working across a variety of schools in the Leeds area who support special, learning, complex and behaviour needs.
Supporting around the classroom, school, setting, in small groups and potentially on a 1:1 basis with children from different ages/year groups.
Requirements:
Flexibility - The role is targeted at team members who are happy to get stuck in across various classes, schools and needs, working alongside a variety of both children and staff throughout the day.
DBS and References - All successful applicants will be subject to background checks through an enhanced child and adult DBS check and from previous employer/character references.
Travel - The position is based around the Leeds area; the ideal applicant will be willing to either drive or use public transport as each day could be in a different location depending on which schools need additional supply staff.
