Leidos Australia has been a trusted partner to the Australian Government, including the Department of Defence, for more than 25 years, having delivered some of the most complex software and systems integration projects in Australia.

Job Description The Knowledge Manager is responsible for overseeing all knowledge-related activities, including the management, capturing, sharing and accessibility of all knowledge.
They are required to work alongside stakeholders, internal and external, to promote the usage of the organization's knowledgebase.
Knowledge managers are expected to keep themselves and the delivery teams accountable for compliance to our customers' expectations and strategy.
They are also responsible for communication and promoting collaboration.

The ideal candidate possesses soft skills such as great leadership, effective communication, problem-solving, coaching, and teamwork skills.
These skills will aid in promoting a culture of knowledge.
As a knowledge manager, you will be well-equipped with the knowledge base features, functionality and be able to communicate this to teams effectively.

Duties – What you'll be doing
Define the knowledge management strategy for our knowledge base and maintain high quality, up-to-date, and searchable content for audiences of varying skill levels.
Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing through defining, supporting and encouraging the use of knowledge to employees of all skill levels and roles.
Control the accessibility and flow of knowledge within the organization and to external parties.
Help capture new knowledge with the usage of a knowledge base.
Monitor progress by leveraging analytics to assess the impact, engagement, functionality and effectiveness of knowledge management strategy.
Provide relevant coaching, training and support to champion a knowledge management culture.
Qualifications Ability to work autonomously as well as contribute in a team and professional environment.
Good communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
Ability to effectively manage multiple, concurrent activities, while understanding and managing priorities, dependencies and risks.
Have a strong focus on customer service.
Strong planning and organizing skills.
Strong reporting and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving skills.
High level of initiative and self-motivation.
This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and hold or be able to attain a Defence NV-1 security clearance.
