It also includes a five-star luxury hotel, The Star Grand, and a state-of-the-art Event Centre.

This transformational project has brought even more excitement and anticipation to burgeoning Brisbane.
It will redefine how people play, shop, and socialise in the river city.

Reporting directly to the Surveillance Shift Manager, the Surveillance Operator will be recording, investigating and reporting threats to casino revenue, safety of persons and the integrity of gaming operations at The Star Brisbane.

A few of your responsibilities
Monitor and Report on all critical incidents across The Star complex Monitor alarm systems and co-ordinate an appropriate response via communications systems to relevant operational departments and emergency services Investigate and Report on activities that potentially pose a threat to the integrity of the operations and casino statutory obligations Review CCTV footage to resolve all gaming inquiries and disputes from internal and external customers Video record and document potential misconduct claims against staff and patrons What we are looking for
The ability to work weekends and nights on a 24/7 rotating roster Being able to reliably work in a small, very dynamic, team environment The capacity to prioritise daily workload to ensure the efficient and effective performance of their position Successful completion of an approved Trainee Surveillance Operators Course About you
This position will be responsible for ensuring the protection of company assets, as well as the safety of team members and patrons.
This will involve the detection of cheating, theft, embezzlement and other illegal or undesirable activities within The Star complex.
Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of Surveillance operations at The Star Brisbane.
