Domestic and Family Violence Counsellor - Emerald Community Development (Community Services & Development) Full time Above award rate $50.00 per hour plus generous salary packaging up to $15,900 to significantly increase your take home payOngoing training and development opportunitiesSubsidised monthly Professional SupervisionFull-time or Part-Time position with flexible working arrangements availableWe are looking for someone with proven experience of working within the domestic and family violence space, with the demonstrated ability to quickly build rapport and work collaboratively within diverse teams.
Our ideal candidate will also have a comprehensive knowledge of the issues affecting families and individuals experiencing domestic and family violence, child abuse, suicidal ideation, and self-harm.
The CatholicCare Central Queensland and Helem Yumba Domestic & Family Violence Response program provides a range of collaborative and person-centred support interventions to adults, children and young people who are experiencing, or who are at risk of experiencing, domestic and family violence.
The partnership between CatholicCare and Helem Yumba ensures that all domestic and family violence supports are provided in a culturally safe way.
