Lawson Elliott is excited to be working alongside a well-recognised organisation who is looking to welcome a confident and experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to join their team
This company is going through considerable growth and has big plans for the future.
They are looking for someone to take their business and payroll processes to the next level, which will be an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate, well driven and has a willingness to develop and succeed in a fast-paced environment.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, your key responsibilities will be, but are not limited to:
Manage end-to-end payroll processing for 1000+ employees Ensure compliance with statutory requirements Interpretation, testing and application of modern awards and payroll system configurations Prepare forms and reports in relation to payroll deductions Coach and lead the Payroll team (currently 2) Evaluations and enhancement of payroll processes Maintain and update payroll and time & attendance rules Liaising with internal and external stakeholders To be considered for this role, it would be advantageous to have:
At least 5+ years of experience in a similar role At least 3+ years of experience leading a team of payroll professionals Strong communication and interpretation skills Experience using software packages such as Microsoft Office Suite Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Sound knowledge around Industrial Awards and Agreements If this opportunity sounds like a role you'd excel in, please do not hesitate to get in touch
