In this role, you'll dive into a variety of exciting challenges, including:
Design & Specification: Spearheading the design and specification of engineering systems including bulk materials handling equipment.FE Analysis: Performing and interpreting finite element analysis (FEA) of mechanical components and structures to ensure top-notch reliability and safety.
Our team integrates instrumentation technologies to complete traditional FEA practices.Fatigue Studies: Leading fatigue analysis, applying industry standards, and designing mechanical systems with fatigue considerations in mind.Mechanical Processes: Proactively identify and resolve design/audit challenges regarding bulk materials handling systems/plant/balance machines, to provide actionable advice that optimizes asset performance.Field Engagement: Occasionally rolling up your sleeves in on-site activities, offering your technical expertise to bring design solutions to life.Project Management: Utilize strong project management skills to oversee complex projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope, with minimal supervision.About you We're looking for someone who thrives on tackling challenges, enjoys working in a dynamic team, and is ready to make an impact with innovative engineering solutions.

Minimum 6 years of engineering experience.Proven track record of managing clients and projects, individually and in team-based environments, for high-quality, on-time, and on-budget outcomes.Relevant university degree in engineering, with full Australian working rights.Ability to interpret and check technical drawings.Strong problem-solving skills.Talent for mentoring and guiding others.Experience with software packages such as ANSYS, Rocky, SpaceClaim, and SolidWorks.Site commissioning experience is preferred but not essential.Involvement in project cost estimation and tender support.What We Offer You At Rockfield, we believe our people and culture are what set us apart.
