The Role
As a senior member of the Corporate and International Tax team, you will provide specialist tax advisory and compliance services to a wide range of clients, with a focus on financial services. Working directly with an experienced Partner, you will have responsibility for managing and delivering assignments, assisting in the development of more junior members of the team and building lasting client relationships. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who has aspirations to accelerate their career development and progression.
Duties & Responsibilities Preparation and review of advice, reports and other client documentsImplementation of delivered advice (e.g. tax structuring strategies)Preparation of M&A tax advice, including tax due diligence reports and review of sale & purchase agreementsCorporate tax compliance, including the review of income tax returnsIdentify risks and apply global and local quality control processes and risk proceduresEnsure client engagements are completed to a high standard within a specified timeframeSupervise/Mentor more junior employeesParticipate in business development activities to promote the firm, its services and your personal brandDirectly contribute to the development of service line strategy.Qualifications, Skills & Experience Management experience with at least 5 years' experience, ideally in Corporate Tax within a Big 4 or law firm.CA or law qualification, tertiary qualification in TaxDemonstrated analytical/problem solving abilityDemonstrated writing ability, drafting of letters of advice and other technical documentsDemonstrated background in tax complianceStrong research and business analysis skillsAbility to work well as a member of a high performing teamAbility to build strong relationships both internally and with external clientsDemonstrated self-starterWhat we will offer you
