About the Role
To support our growing structure and strategic growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Planner to join our Peter Alexander Planning team.
Reporting to the Planning Manager, you will work as a commercial partner with the Product Managers in order to maximise the financial performance of the brand by developing and managing the department financial plan.
Responsibilities Build the seasonal budgets in conjunction with the product teamBuild, implement and manage assortment plans to achieve department financial KPIsMaintain the accuracy and integrity of the financial projectionWork with product design and sourcing teams to provide feedback on merchandiseUndertake appropriate pre & post review preparation and analysisControl the department stock levels and stock turnUndertake key in-season and post-season analysisActualise line projections and participate in forward forecasts with the Planning ManagerRequired Skills & Experience Minimum 2 years experience in merchandise planning would be advantageousExpertise in sales forecasting, budgeting, option planning, managing the OTB, and inventory managementPassion for retail with an analytical mindAble to demonstrate sound relationship management and influencing skillsExcellent commercial and business acumenExcellent working knowledge of Excel & WordPerks Generous discount to be used across all of our 7 brands and access to our sample salesCentral office location based on St Kilda Rd, with direct access to the picturesque Fawkner ParkWork closely within a supportive and collaborative environmentOpportunities to support your ongoing growth and developmentExperience working for an international company with 7 iconic Australian brandsBring your dog to workAbove all, we are looking for someone with enthusiasm who is a great team player.
