Product Designer
We are seeking a talented and passionate Product Designer based in Melbourne to join our growing team and play a crucial role in shaping the visual and interactive aspects of our products.
You will collaborate closely with designers, product owners, and other stakeholders to craft cohesive and compelling user interfaces that align with our brand values and resonate with our users.

What you will do:
Develop intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for our digital products, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable user experience.
Utilise best practices in UI design, keeping up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Conduct user research/usability testing to understand the needs, behaviours, and pain points of our target audience to inform design decisions.
Ensure that the UI is responsive, adapting designs to accommodate various screen sizes and orientations, as well as designing for platform-specific apps such as iOS and Android.
Define and document design components and patterns for consistent and scalable application across different platforms using Figma.
Create interactive prototypes to demonstrate the functionality and animations.
Work closely with developers to ensure the successful implementation of design components.
Collaborate with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and align design solutions with business goals.
Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine and improve designs.
Advocate for user-centred design principles and ensure that design decisions are rooted in user needs and business objectives.
Participate in design sprints, workshops, and brainstorming sessions to foster a collaborative and creative design culture.
Develop wireframes and prototypes to outline the layout and functionality, providing a blueprint for development and stakeholders.
What you will bring:
A minimum of 3 years experience as a Product Designer, with a strong focus on UI design.
A portfolio showcasing a range of UI design projects and the ability to explain design decisions.
Solid understanding of user-centred design principles and methodologies.
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design concepts and rationale.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to evolving project requirements.
Experience with designing for platform-specific apps such as iOS and Android is desirable.
Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
3-5 years experience is preferred.
