We have an exciting new opportunity within our Catering team for an experienced individual to join us as a Casual Food & Beverage Supervisor.
This role supports our team of Duty Managers with various events from planning to operations, ensuring the highest standards of product and service delivery through detailed planning, resource allocation, and leadership.
Other duties you will be responsible for include:
Manage food and beverage operations to a high standardFollow and deliver Company policies and proceduresDeliver event briefingsConduct staff training and developmentUtilize POS operations with SquareOversee and manage set-up, preparation, operations, and breakdowns of eventsEnsure Company grooming standards are followedLead by example and be hands-on in the delivery of service to our clients and their guestsMaintain food and beverage inventory stock controlEnsure adherence to food safety guidelines (HACCP)This role is rostered in accordance with event requirements and will require weekend and evening work.
To excel in this role, you will have... Current RSA CertificateFood Safety Supervisors CertificateHospitality Management experience in large events, both retail and corporatePrevious experience in a supervisory role in large eventsProactive and adaptableExcellent communication, leadership, and delegation skillsStrong customer service focusExceptional planning and organization abilitiesAdaptable and responsive to change, especially in an ever-changing environmentBe legally entitled to live & work in AustraliaAbout us… The Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS) manages the Sydney Royal Easter Show, Sydney Royal competitions, the RAS Foundation, Australasian Animal Registry, and the Sydney Showground.
