About the team Our Sydney corporate practice is currently seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join the growing practice.
The Sydney team focus on M&A and private equity/venture capital transactions across a broad range of industries but with a particular focus on technology transactions.
What does the role involve?
Our corporate partners work on a variety of dynamic corporate matters, and we can offer you the opportunity to join a high performing team and work cohesively within a well co-ordinated group.
On a day-to-day basis you will have the chance to: advise and act for local and multinational investment funds, blue chip corporates and emerging companies advise on a range of corporate matters including Mergers and Acquisitions, private equity and venture capital market transactions work with multiple practice groups across multiple offices (domestic and international), gaining experience and exposure to global capital flows actively participate in business development and client relationship activities contribute to the firm's learning and development program in area of specialty access and work with our global network of lawyers and resources.

To be successful in this role you will ideally have 6+ years' experience working in a medium to large sized law firm with a corporate practice with experience in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Private Equity and Venture Capital.
You should be practical and proactive in your approach in addition to demonstrating strong problem solving skills and work well in a team.
The successful applicant will have excellent technical abilities, be commercially minded, along with excellent organisation, written and oral communication skills.
