Software Engineer, Big Data | Innovate with Purpose | Perth, WA Ox Mountain Limited are solving industrial challenges with innovative data solutions that empower people, reduce waste, and unlock efficiency.
With offices in the UK and Australia, they are partnering with Technology Enhanced Asset Management to expand their capabilities and source a Software Engineer, Big Data to join their Perth-based team.
This isn't your typical engineering role.
You'll work in a "Skunkworks"-style environment - a startup-like team within a well-established business.

What You'll DoBuild and optimise ETL pipelines to process and analyse large datasets where performance is mission-critical.Design and deliver innovative software solutions using Java, Python, or C++, complemented by front-end development in modern web frameworks.Collaborate closely with domain experts and the Head of Software to develop scalable, impactful solutions for complex industrial challenges.Dive deep into datasets, identifying inefficiencies, addressing anomalies, and driving performance improvements.Experiment with new technologies and techniques to continually refine and enhance our approach.About YouYou hold a BSc (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.You bring at least 3 years of commercial experience building and optimising ETL pipelines and delivering robust, scalable software solutions.
