Together with Caterpillar, we've been there for customers - selling and servicing the best equipment in the world - on land, at sea, in construction, mining and industry.Today, we lead the way with great products, unrivalled product support and, of course, the best asset in business, our people.We are on the search for a customer-focused and highly motivated individual to take on the busy role of Service Coordinator - Machining & Specialised Hydraulics within our Dandenong branch.ABOUT THE ROLEReporting to the Branch Manager, this challenging front-line position would suit someone looking to further their career as a leader within our team.
A mechanical trade background would be preferable for this role given you will be required to field technical questions from both customers and service technicians.What a typical day will look like:Booking and scheduling work in progressProviding clear, accurate and timely information for new machine build-upsQuotations following inspection workManaging invoices to ensure pricing and product/machine component details are clearEffectively liaising with other departments to deliver effective solutionsABOUT YOUYou will utilise your knowledge gained from your mechanical trade background and pride yourself on outstanding customer service, as well as your organisational skills.To be successful in this role you will require the following skills and attributes:Ability to develop and maintain long-term internal and external relationshipsExcellent organisational skills and the ability to handle several tasks simultaneouslyOperational experience within the heavy mechanical industryA strong commitment to safety, health & environment proceduresWhy work for us?Joining the William Adams family, you will instantly feel welcome and supported.
