Our fast-growing law firm is seeking a highly skilled and motivated litigation lawyer to join our fun, fast-paced team.
As a litigation lawyer, you will have the opportunity to work with a broad range of clients, including individuals, small businesses, and large corporations in various legal disputes.
Junior or Senior, we want to hear from you as our team is growing.
This is a great opportunity to pitch in and assist with invaluable hands-on experience working on client matters, honing your skills through preparing technical advice and drafting court documents.
For seniors, this is an excellent career development opportunity to mentor juniors.
Responsibilities associated with the role:Represent clients in a wide range of legal proceedings, including but not limited to business, corporate, and private client matters, with a focus on high-level dispute resolution.Day-to-day management of commercial litigation cases and insolvency-related dispute advisory matters.Conduct legal research and provide legal advice to clients on complex legal issues.Draft legal documents such as pleadings, applications, and briefs, with precision and attention to detail.Negotiate settlements to achieve the best possible outcome for clients.Manage cases from start to finish including all aspects of disclosure, trial preparation, and post-trial steps.Attend court hearings.Collaborate with other solicitors and staff members to provide the highest level of service to clients.Requirements:Some previous litigation experience, with a proven track record of success (we are happy to meet all candidates regardless of experience level).Can prioritise workload and meet strict deadlines.Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills, with a keen eye for detail.Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.Ability to work independently and manage multiple files simultaneously, while prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines.Proficiency in legal research databases, with a commitment to staying up to date on the latest legal developments.We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including bonuses and other flexible arrangements.
