We're expanding our pool of casual Paralegals in Sydney and Melbourne to bolster our top-tier Construction Advisory and Disputes team.
Exceptional candidates from Perth will also be considered.
As a Paralegal, you'll provide project-based support tailored to your availability.
Enjoy the flexibility of choosing your working days, with a commitment of at least 2-3 days per week.
What will you do as a Paralegal?
In Australia, we work with a variety of businesses providing corporate transactional, advisory and contentious legal services across infrastructure and construction, energy, financial services and employment.
As a part of our Paralegal pool, you will provide valuable support on specific projects for their duration and dependent on your availability.
Our Paralegal pool operates on a project-by-project basis.
This will primarily be with the Construction Advisory and Disputes group; however, you may have the opportunity to work across other practice groups from time to time.
At Pinsent Masons, we like to consider Paralegals for Graduate roles, so this opportunity could lead to a Graduate position in the future
Your tasks include but are not limited to:
Conducting legal and general research Preparation of legal documents for review and approval Drafting, proofreading, and amending legal documents General administrative support, including drafting letters and email correspondence.

Most of all, we want people who:
Completed at least one year of either a JD or four units of law subjects within an LLB A Law WAM of over 75 Are open-minded and passionate about pursuing a career in law Enjoy working with fast-paced high-performing teams Will bring energy and passion to the role
Have demonstrated organisational skills, with the ability to assimilate information quickly Possess good communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to liaise with diverse stakeholder audiences.
