About the role An exciting opportunity to join one of Melbourne's leading Construction firms has presented itself as an energetic and proactive Junior Project Manager.
With a proven history across many Institutional, Commercial, retail and government projects, our client has multiple awards in delivering complex and technical projects.
The firm has a supportive and constructive senior management team, whose ideals are sustained through progressive leadership, nurturing talent, continuous career progression, encouraging ongoing training and developing their team so that it is always at the front of the pack.
What you'll be doing Assist Project Directors with the day-to-day coordination and administration of assigned projectsLiaise with clients, subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones are metMonitor project progress and identify and resolve any potential issues or risksPrepare and maintain project documentation, reports and other recordsSupport the implementation of project plans, schedules and budgetsContribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and proceduresWhat we're looking for 3-5 years' experience in a project coordination or junior project management role, ideally within the construction industry1-2 years working experience as a Contracts Admin, understanding project: scope, financials, managing trade packages, letting of packages, project schedules and some programmingStrong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectivelyExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with a diverse range of stakeholdersProficient in using project management software and Microsoft Office suiteAn understanding of construction project management methodologies and industry regulationsTertiary qualification in project management, construction management or a related field is preferredWhat we offer
