Through engineering innovation, collaborative contracting and leading sustainability practices we're unlocking opportunities for a better tomorrow.Job Summary:We are currently hiring a Senior Safety Advisor with experience in Civil/Rail construction projects to join DT Infrastructure and Alstom in delivering the $1.6B contract for Perth's High Capacity Signalling Project. The project includes the design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of the new Automatic Train Control System to replace the existing signalling and train control systems in Perth.About the Role:Based initially out of the CBD project office, this position will support business unit operations and management to ensure compliance with local HSE management plans, regularly review risk registers, and implement programs stipulated in the project HSE plans, together with HSE Integrated Management System (IMS) implementation.To be considered for this role, you will possess:Knowledge of PTA Safe Working Rules advantageous3 - 5 years in a Safety role in a construction environmentKnowledge of Safety Management System techniques and toolsExperience in qualitative risk assessment and development and monitoring of risk controlsSkill in conducting and interpreting audits and reviewsExperience in delivering training in high risk activities such as working at heights, confined space and rescue trainingExperience in developing, analysing and reporting on complex project performance, compliance and defects and/or non-conformanceKnowledge of Safety legislation and statutes and ability to interpret any applicable statutes or legislation relevant to ProjectSkill and experience using Corporate Management Systems & RehabilitationWhy work for DT Infrastructure:Championing health & safety initiatives for all our employees and visitorsTraining and Development to support your career with us.Industry leading Parental Leave programDT Infrastructure is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace that champions opportunity and respect.
