As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for delivering plans, designs and schedules to ensure that the operation's longer-term visions can be realised.
Depending on the candidates' strengths and desired career path, this will be within the Medium-Term or Short-Term planning team on site.
Responsibilities: In a Medium-Term space, refine and optimise the current mine plan from conceptual stages through to implementation, as well as gain exposure to the longer-term Budget and Life of Mine planning processes.In a Short-Term space, plan for an entire pit including scheduling, developing dig, dump, infrastructure and reshape designs while working closely with operations to ensure their execution.Collaborate within a range of teams (Drill & Blast, Truck & Shovel, Dragline, Rehabilitation & Services) to execute the mine plans.Required Skills and Experience: A tertiary qualification in Engineering (Mining/Civil or related field)Proficiency in Mine Design and Scheduling packages (such as Vulcan, Deswik, Spry or similar)Minimum of two years relevant experienceJust as importantly, we've worked hard to make sure you feel valued.

You will have the option to either live locally in one of the communities that surround our operation or stay on site in our amazing village.
We are only a one and quarter hour drive from the beautiful Mackay hinterland and a two- and half-hour drive from Airlie Beach and the Whitsunday Islands and have a diverse group of people at our operation commuting from multiple locations in Queensland such as Rockhampton and Townsville.
The successful candidate will have the option to work a compressed 9 day-fortnight flexible work arrangement.
