We have an exciting opportunity for an Event Planning Executive to join our team from January 2025.
Located adjacent to Darling Harbour in Sydney's Central Business District, Hyatt Regency Sydney is a haven of relaxation for the business or leisure traveler.
As Australia's largest premium hotel, the hotel boasts 878 guestrooms, multiple dining experiences, and event spaces.
The hotel offers more than 3,700 sq m of sleek meeting and event space in the heart of the city featuring two spacious ballrooms with views of Darling Harbour and 22 additional meeting rooms.

Following confirmation of business by the Sales team, the planning, implementation, and execution of the event is handed over to you.
You will support and guide our clients from arrival to departure, including the final settlement of accounts.
This is the perfect opportunity for an individual with prior event planning experience, who is passionate about building relationships with clients and understanding their needs.
Responsibilities Include: Handling all enquiries with a professional manner, demonstrating a high level of care and customer service for events up to 250 delegatesTo actively convert catering only enquiries into a confirmed catering event, demonstrating confidence through call control and upsellingManaging the day to day administration of events, including sending out of proposals within 24 hours, preparation of BEOs and settlement of final accounts.Developing and fostering future and repeat business opportunitiesAttending internal and interdepartmental meetings as requiredWorking closely and collaboratively with key departments across the Hotel including the Sales, Events Service, Revenue & Group Reservations, Engineering and CulinaryOur Ideal Candidate will possess: Prior experience at a similar level in a Hotel or hospitality venueExcellent organisational and time management skillsExceptional verbal and written communication skillsPride in personal presentation and groomingThe drive to develop a career within the Event Planning industryFull Australian working rights and the availability to work full-time onsite Monday to Friday #J-18808-Ljbffr
