You will play a pivotal role in providing compassionate and competent care to Arcare residents while maintaining a supportive and positive work environment for the care team.
You will be instrumental in ensuring the well-being and quality of life for residents in the facility.
Your key responsibilities will be: Resident care: Ensuring the delivery of high-quality and person-centered care to residents, addressing their specific medical, physical, and emotional needs.Staff supervision: Managing and leading a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, caregivers, and support staff.Care planning: Overseeing the development and implementation of individual care plans for each resident, considering their unique health requirements and preferences.Medication management: Ensuring proper administration and management of medications for residents, adhering to prescribed schedules and protocols.Family communication: Communicating effectively with residents' families or legal guardians, providing updates on their loved one's condition and involving them in care decisions when appropriate.Crisis management: Handling emergency situations and critical incidents promptly and effectively.Skills & Experience Current AHPRA registration.Minimum of 2 years' experience in aged care as a registered nurse.Knowledge of aged care accreditation standards.Comprehensive knowledge and experience with ANNAC.Expertise in medication administration and wound care with a commitment to ongoing clinical excellence.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.An outstanding proficiency in care planning, goal setting, and evaluation documentation.Capability to effectively lead and manage a team.Ready to Apply Our people and culture set us apart and our ongoing focus is on working together as one team.
