GR Engineering Services Inc. (formerly Hanlon Engineering & Associates, Inc.) was founded in 1999 in Tucson, Arizona, providing multi-disciplinary EPC/M services across the USA and the Americas in mining, industrial, and commercial sectors.
Over two decades, HEA successfully completed over 1,500 projects valued at more than $1 billion.
In January 2020, GRES Pty Ltd (Australia) acquired HEA, evolving its operations to align with the GRES model.
In March 2024, the company rebranded as GRES Inc. and relocated its head office within Tucson.
GRES Inc. continues serving clients throughout the USA and the Americas.
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Manager of Projects and Engineering to join our Tucson-based team.
Reporting to the President of GRES USA, this role is critical in managing EPCM projects, ensuring safety, meeting project schedules, and achieving financial and quality objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure project KPIs are met, with a focus on safety, scheduling, financial outcomes, technical/quality standards and compliance.
Lead multidisciplinary teams of project managers, engineers, designers and consultants.
Oversee technical assessments, risk reviews, and project and engineering personnel.
Liaise with clients, attend project meetings, and ensure compliance with safety,environmental, technical and engineeringstandards within all relevant jurisdications.
Support business development efforts, estimates, and tender proposals.
Collaborate with the President to execute business strategies and drive project success.
What We're Looking For:
A professional engineer (preferably Mechanical) with extensive experience in project management, especially in the mineral resources sector.
Experience in engineering and design team management, cost control, construction management, and site-based engineering.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Familiarity with industry standards like JORC and NI-43-101.
Familiarity with Professional Engineering jurisdictional requirements and compliance.
A strong preference will be given to existing PE qualifications and in multiple USA states.
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Proficiency in project management processes and systems.
