Business Unit Accountant

The role Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the finance function of I-MED's teleradiology business unit.
This role will see you supporting month-end finance processes including preparation of reporting and analysis.
You will participate in the preparation of the business unit strategy and plan, providing financial information and support for budget and review processes.
You are a highly collaborative, self-motivated individual who can work autonomously and help us drive process improvements.
You are commercially minded with strong attention to detail and will be able to apply whole business thinking and be adaptable in the way you work.
Key responsibilities Preparation of business unit financial reporting including month-end, general ledger, P&L, and balance sheetInvolvement in planning, budgeting & review for the business unitWorking with the Commercial Finance Manager on growth projects such as financial due diligence for acquisitions and new customer tender submissionsContribute to a positive and productive Finance and workplace team environment through effective communication, teamwork and establishing strong working relationships, with a specific emphasis on facilitating two-way communication.The ideal candidate: Tertiary degree qualification in accounting/commerceQualified or near qualified CA/CPA1-2 years' experience in an accounting role1-2 years' experience in use of finance/accounting systemsIntermediate skills in Microsoft ExcelLife at I-MED Radiology Opportunities to progress with I-MED's continued growth and expansion.The shared collective knowledge and support of the I-MED network.Competitive remuneration package with flexible work arrangements.Commitment to your health and well-being, including access to employee assistance program.A range of employee benefits, such as paid parental leave and discounted health insurance.Innovative, respectful, and welcoming environment united in the pursuit of excellence.Living our valuesWorking together.
