Cash Converters is Australia's largest second-hand retailer with affordable personal finance solutions, giving our customers the freedom of choice.We areReal people who are passionate and proudCaring and respectfulTenacious problem solversWe are currently looking for an In-House Legal Counsel to join our Legal team in the Perth Head Office in a Full-time capacity.About The RoleProvide professional and prompt advice on all legal matters and guidance to the business on a range of corporate and commercial matters including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, commercial contract reviews and negotiations, financial products and services, leasing, and franchising.Assist the Senior Legal Counsel in dealing with litigation and disputes where necessary.Work closely with Senior leaders on strategic transactions for domestic and international operations.Build and maintain relationships across the business in support of the legal department's interaction with other business units including external stakeholders.Support the Senior Legal Counsel and provide leadership and guidance to other in-house counsel where required.About YouBachelor of Laws or equivalent degree.Current Australian Practising Certificate.6+ years of post-qualification experience in a law firm or in-house role.Experience and proficiency in corporate and general commercial law (advantageous).What's On OfferExclusive access to 'Cashies Rewards' featuring discounts and cash-back offers from over 400 retailers.Monday to Friday | Based at our Perth International Head OfficeFlexible work arrangement options availablePaid Parental Leave.Salary Packaging for a Novated Car lease available.Health Insurance Discounts (Bupa & HBF).30% Instore Discount.Plus, access to our Wellness Activities: Move, Munch, Money and Mind.We will start shortlisting for this position immediatelySo, keep your phone nearby
