Position: Design Manager(s) - Civil. Opportunities in NSW + QLD
Our client's team is dedicated to excellence, and pride themselves on their collaborative work environment and commitment to professional growth and development. They are currently seeking experienced and dynamic Civil Design Managers to join their teams in NSW + QLD and lead their design initiatives.
Role Overview:
As the Civil Design Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the design process for a diverse range of civil engineering projects. You will lead a team of talented engineers and designers, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Your role will involve close collaboration with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to deliver innovative design solutions that meet project requirements and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the civil design team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.Oversee the development of civil engineering designs, including site layouts, grading, drainage, and infrastructure.Ensure designs comply with relevant Australian standards, codes, and regulations.Coordinate with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.Review and approve design plans, specifications, and calculations.Monitor project progress and manage resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.Identify and mitigate design risks and issues.Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CPEng) status is highly desirable.Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil engineering design, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.Strong proficiency in civil design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D / 12D, Bentley).In-depth knowledge of Australian standards and regulations.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.What our Client Offers: Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and career growth.A collaborative and inclusive work environment.Flexible working arrangements and work-life balance.Access to cutting-edge technology and resources.Please click apply with your updated CV and reach out to Dom for a confidential conversation on this role and the Engineering market in general. ******
