We're proud of brands like COLORBOND steel that inspire and protect everything from hospitals to bridges and stadiums.The OpportunityOur Lysaght business is looking for a Electrical Maintenance Technician to join the Maintenance Team based in Emu Plains.
Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes to large commercial and industrial projects.You'll be based at our Emu Plains site as well as have the opportunity to manage projects across other branches within the region.
You will be working to complete scheduled maintenance, and you will also be required for call outs, after hours/weekend, and shutdown hours.
Shift will be day shift (6:00am – 2:30pm).
Overtime is available and this position will be eligible for our bonus scheme as well as 14% Super.What Will You Do?In a role that impacts the safety of our people as well as the quality and reliability of our equipment and products, you will be the first and main point of contact when it comes to equipment and maintenance.You will be:Ensuring stoppages, performance issues, or breakdowns are rectified in a safe and timely manner.Assembling, installing, testing, commissioning, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, and machinery using hand and power tools.Diagnosing faulty systems and components using test equipment to identify the cause of issues and implement repairs.Inspecting electrical systems and components to detect hazards, defects, and necessary adjustments or repairs, ensuring adherence to safety codes.More About YouAs a career Maintenance Technician, you'll enjoy taking ownership of your work and contributing to the larger team.
