As overnight sleep patterns, please note that for the 8-hour sleep period between 10pm-6am, you remain at the home and sleep in your own private room.
A typical day as a Support Worker may look like: Delivering a wide range of domestic supports within high-needs customer residences;Supporting person-centred plans that identify a customer's life goals;Ensuring positive behaviour support plans are followed;Administration duties, expense, and mandatory reports.The ideal candidate will: Hold Cert III in Individual Support (CHC33015 or CHC33021) - essentialBe comfortable taking customers to swimming and joining them in the waterExperience with dementia, diabetes, and epilepsy would be beneficialWillingness to support customers of any gender by assisting with personal care (showering, toileting, medication administration) and domestic duties (meal preparation, housekeeping)Passion for providing service and assistance and helping others live their best livesWillingness to use your fully insured and registered, private vehicle (aligned with Activ's motor vehicle allowance rebate).We are Activ.
