Our intimate space offers a haven of comfortable seating, a selection of boutique beers, cocktails, and quality wines, as well as an impressive tapas menu.

We are looking for someone who is passionate and represents our service philosophy.
They must be open to adapting their skills and creating great experiences, all of this underpinned by being a true Heartist.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a high-volume venue, and a passion for people and service/experiences.
They must be able to multitask at a high level whilst developing individual team members and the team as a whole.
You will also have a hands-on management style and flexible work ethic.

Job Description
Reporting to the 16 Antlers Venue Manager, we are currently seeking a Supervisor to join our dynamic team.
This role is suitable for someone who is experienced in a similar role and knows how to ensure our guests have a great experience.

What is the role all about:
Ensure efficient, friendly, and professional service is provided to all visitors.
Liaise with the Food & Beverage team to ensure venue standards are upheld.
Set up procedures to protect and maintain bar service equipment, correctly recording breakages and carrying out regular stocktaking.
Maintain effective communication with the team regarding upcoming events and venue requirements, e.g., weekly meetings with the management team and kitchen brigade.
Ensure all mise-en-place is completed prior to guests' arrival.
Set up, pack down, and coordinate events on the day when required.
Proactively create unique experiences tailored to the clients and guests.
Handle any escalated complaints to a positive outcome.
Be knowledgeable of and operate within the outlet and hotel liquor licensing guidelines and House Management Policies.
Qualifications
Experience working in a similar environment.
Proven ability in building & sustaining team cohesion & development.
Advanced knowledge of cocktails, wines & spirits.
Valid QLD RSA.
A friendly personality & a high standard of personal presentation.
Excellent attention to detail.
Physically fit.
