The Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Body Builder / Fabricator / Boilermaker to join the team at Wales Bus Repairs.
You'll be part of our dynamic smash repair facility, using your skills to shape and restore heavy vehicle exteriors, contributing to the future of automotive excellence.
Role Responsibilities Assess the vehicle's damage to determine how to perform the repair work in accordance with Job SheetFabricate, replicate and repair the bodies of trailers, trucks, and fridges to our quality standardsWeld repaired vehicles to a high standardAdvise the Parts Interpreter of any additional parts required not originally quoted on the estimateCo-ordinate with other team members in the workshop to ensure the workflow is appropriately placedNotify of any product shortages which would restrict productionCheck the schedule daily to ensure time-frames are metTreat company equipment with the same respect as your own toolsDoes this sound like you? Bus body repair experience (Essential)Trade qualified (Essential)Ability to be a team player, with the skills to also work autonomouslyCommunication and decision-making skillsMechanical knowledge to assist in the usage and maintenance of toolsWe know that sometimes people need non-standard work hours, and we would be happy to discuss the options available in this role, or similar roles across our business.
