Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist (Clinical Director Orthopaedics)The Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service covers a large geographic area with a diverse and growing population. (L25 – L27) or up to $455,624 p.a. (L18 – L24), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%), annual leave loading (17.5%), professional development allowance, motor vehicle allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., plus private practice arrangements. A Clinical Managers allowance (CMA4) applies to this role.Temporary full-time Staff Specialist with temporary full-time Clinical Director component for 2 years.Purpose of the Role: The purpose of the role is to ensure the development and maintenance of specialist health services to the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service, ensuring appropriate, effective, efficient, integrated, safe clinical services in accordance with contemporary standards. The role provides Clinical Leadership and assumes overall Clinical Responsibility for the Orthopaedics Department.Your Opportunity: We are looking for a Clinical Director Orthopaedics to provide professional oversight and leadership of clinical services, support for clinical staff, and facilitate the delivery of high-quality care to patients of the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service.Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD): Evidence as required for your employment in accordance with legislation/government policy and Directives.How to Apply: Please download the Role Description and Information Package for Applicants for instructions on how to apply for this role.
