Aerodrome Management Services Pty Ltd (AMS) has been a cornerstone of Australia's aviation industry since its establishment in 1996.
Originally focused on providing inspection and survey services to a small client base, AMS has grown exponentially to become a leading provider of comprehensive aerodrome and airport management solutions.
Today, AMS offers a full suite of services, from engineering, design, and construction to inspections, training, compliance, and equipment supply.
Their "one-stop" approach ensures tailored, professional, and cost-effective solutions for clients across the aviation sector.
With a team of over 160 skilled professionals, including aerodrome inspectors, trainers, engineers, compliance auditors, and operational advisors, AMS delivers expertise across Australia.

About you:
You will bring extensive industry experience, backed by a proven track record in senior management roles.
You will excel in overseeing profit and loss operations, managing budgets, and setting strategic visions that align with organisational goals.
As a clear and effective communicator, you will provide direction, articulate a compelling vision, and integrate expert opinions into your decision-making processes.
Your leadership acumen will enable you to guide teams and organisations through dynamic and evolving environments.
Additionally, you will demonstrate high-level strategic, conceptual, and analytical skills, along with advanced expertise in business development, financial management, and regulatory risk assessment.
With strong negotiation skills, you will build and sustain a positive organisational culture, manage change, and foster a collaborative and resilient workforce.
Your ability to perform under pressure, prioritise effectively, and delegate tasks will ensure you can balance operational demands while driving long-term success.
The role:
As Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for creating, communicating, and implementing the organisation's vision, mission, and strategic direction.
You will lead the development and execution of the overall strategy, make high-level decisions on policy and direction, and oversee the complete operations of the organisation.
You will work closely with the Managing Director, providing leadership to the executive team and fostering a culture of achievement, well-being, and staff cohesion.
By promoting collaboration and high-performance standards across the organisation, you will ensure the team operates cohesively, contributing to overall business success.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships, driving business growth, managing capital projects, and identifying opportunities to enhance company value while mitigating risks.
As a representative of the organisation, you will engage in industry-related events and associations to strengthen the company's reputation and potential for success.
You will ensure robust business systems, processes, and reporting mechanisms are in place, while also championing initiatives that support employee development and organisational excellence.
