The Maintenance Fitter will be a part of the Engineering team, you will utilise your trade and other skills to support and enhance the performance of job changes and maintenance of several independent section glass manufacturing machines whilst ensuring safety and quality.
Although this role does require some flexibility it is a day shift role, working Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities: Inspect, maintain, monitor, troubleshoot and repair all equipment as requiredRespond to breakdownsPartake in daily job changes Conduct routine preventative maintenance tasks Assist the Engineering team where requiredEnsure safety and quality standards are maintainedWhat We're Looking For: Trade Qualification – Maintenance FitterPneumatic ExperiencePrevious experience in fault finding automated machineryProven attention to detailAbility to manage changing prioritiesCapacity to work autonomouslyFlexibility in working hoursStrong safety focusIn conjunction with the above, the successful applicant will possess strong communication skills, have a high level of initiative and a 'can do' attitude.
Being able to work as part of a team as well as independently is imperative as is experience within a maintenance team environment.
