Lendlease | Finance Manager | Sydney

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join the Group Financial Control Team on a full-time, permanent position based in Barangaroo.
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, Group Services, the role will focus on delivering all aspects of financial accounting and reporting requirements for entities within our Group Services business unit.
The role will also include some management reporting activities.
This role will require strong technical accounting skills.
You will work closely with the Group finance teams and offshore service provider as well as engaging with Lendlease's regional finance teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery of key monthly, quarterly, period end reporting, including Tier 1 and Tier 2 statutory financial reports, compliance and board reporting.
Working with an offshore service provider for the completion of key accounting and reporting tasks.
Involvement with the audit and general ledger management plus contributing to the provision of appropriate commentary and insights of key financial data and supporting the Senior Finance Manager Group Services in undertaking scenario and sensitivity analysis.
Identification and support of continuous improvement initiatives in relation to processes and systems, including providing relevant subject matter expertise.
About you:
CA/CPA qualifications, or equivalent.
Demonstrated experience in financial and management reporting.
Strong excel and system skills.
Experience in Oracle preferred.
Excellent problem-solving capability, eye for detail, as well as having strong organisational skills and the ability to reliably deliver quality outcomes in a timely manner within a fast-paced environment.
Ability to develop strong working rapport with a variety of stakeholders
A confident and motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives and display a high level of initiative.
