Reporting directly to the Manager of Maintenance Services, you will contribute to our vision of Safe, Stable, and Sustainable operations by:Championing a strong safety culture aligned with QAL values.Ensuring all work complies with health, environmental, and community policies, systems, and procedures.Ensuring the reliability and integrity of Electrical services across the site and complies with QLD Electrical rules and regulations.Leading Electrical and Airconditioning team and driving continuous improvement in skills, task quality, and technical knowledge.Managing and maximising allocated budgets in collaboration with the Department Manager.Implementing and refining work systems, including lean principles, to maintain a safe and productive environment.What you will bringTo excel in this role, you should possess:Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or valid QLD Electrical Licence.Related field experience desirable.Extensive experience leading a diverse team and managing electrical maintenance programs in the heavy industry sector.In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, standards and regulations.Ability to lead, influence and motivate team members.Proven experience in the Electrical & Instrumentation field.Develop positive and professional relationships with colleagues and key stakeholders.Proficiency with SAP Systems.A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and motivation to succeed.What's on offerWe know there are many aspects of our employees' lives that are important, and work is only one of these, so we offer benefits to enable your work to fit with your life.
