Occupational Therapist - Community Paediatrics We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to take on a community NDIS position in Geelong.
In this role, you will work with a varied caseload consisting of participants (0-16 years old) providing evidence-based therapeutic use of assessment and intervention to develop or maintain everyday tasks. You will work with participants utilising a holistic, person-centred approach, collaborating with the person and their support team. Where working with participants aged 0-7 under Early Childhood Early Intervention, you will adopt a key worker approach in assessment, planning and intervention and effectively consult with the multidisciplinary team and other stakeholders, including family, health and education supports.
Work within a multidisciplinary team and provide direct community-based intervention and support. Also, enjoy working within a large therapy hub based in Central Geelong.
This is a permanent full-time position; however, part-time may also be considered.
About the Role: As a Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you will:
Provide evidence-based therapeutic assessment and intervention for participants aged 0-16 years. Utilise a holistic, person-centred approach. Collaborate with the participant and their support team. Adopt a key worker approach for participants aged 0-7 under Early Childhood Early Intervention. Consult effectively with the multidisciplinary team and stakeholders.
