This is a senior leadership role, reporting to the Executive General Manager (EGM) of Legal & Governance.
You will drive strategic initiatives that enhance risk management practices and embed a culture of safety, compliance, and operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesRisk Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive enterprise risk framework aligned with organisational goals.Compliance Management: Oversee the compliance framework, ensuring adherence to legislative and regulatory requirements.Assurance Programs: Lead first, second, and third-line assurance activities, including reporting to the Audit & Risk Committee.Business Continuity & Fraud Control: Establish and manage business continuity programs and the fraud control plan.Strategic Reporting: Deliver insightful reports to senior leadership and the board, supporting informed decision-making.Insurance Management: Oversee the insurance program, ensuring adequate coverage and cost-effectiveness.What You'll BringDemonstrated expertise in managing and leading enterprise risk management, compliance, and assurance within complex organisations.Extensive experience in implementing frameworks, policies, and systems to mitigate risks and enhance business resilience.Strong ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders, delivering value through strategic insights.Experience in leading privacy compliance, fraud investigations, and conflict-of-interest management.Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Risk Management, or Law.Key Skills & CapabilitiesExceptional analytical and decision-making skills, with a proven ability to assess risks and implement effective controls.Strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills at all organisational levels.Advanced knowledge of Australian standards relevant to risk and business continuity management.Practical understanding of Australian Privacy Principles and privacy legislation.Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams and deliver results within scope, budget, and timelines.Benefits and Perks:Package up to$15,900of your annual salary tax free, and additional$2,650for meal and entertainment expenses.Use your pre-tax income to purchase a new or used car, saving on both the purchase price and running costs.Discounts on Corporate Private Health Insurance, select Kia vehicles and discounted kitchen appliances.Supportive Induction and Learning OpportunitiesEmployee Assistance Program.Reward and Recognition Program.Intrigued?
