Due to the focus on building positive sustainable relationships, Porter Equipment Australia has become a major player in the construction industry in recent years.A unique opportunity has arisen within the company, and we are currently seeking applications for the following position.The RoleThe role is responsible for the timely repair advice, servicing techniques, and diagnostics of our customer base in a field and office based environment.
The successful candidate will have excellent time management skills, post trade experience in the field on comparable equipment and commercial awareness from both a service and branch perspective.The productive alliance of this position with the sales and parts departments as well as outside contractors and customers is essential to the success of our business service commitments.About the Role :Liaising with the Factory, Sales Teams, and the Service Departments as well as onsite visits.
This is a rewarding role as it incorporates a wide variety of daily tasks across all facets of crushing and screening.
The role reports directly to the National Aftersales Manager.Running as an autonomous technical representative, travel will be required to support technicians and clients in the field.
This role is essential to the success of Porter Equipment Australia business plans and is necessary to ensure that best practice is always pursued for PEA and our customers.You will be required to possess the following :Knowledge of occupational health & safety and site requirements including inductions.Previous applicable Field Service experience preferable.Trade Qualifications that apply to this role and equipment.Excellent understanding of commercial outcomes within a branch and OEM environment.Sound communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills to enable the effective provision of advice, information and assistance to Management, customers, staff and contractors.Fault diagnostic skills and diagnostic software experience.Current and valid medium rigid driver's license.You will be rewarded with an excellent remuneration package including progressive & ongoing training to develop you into an industry leaderSummary of role requirements :Looking for candidates available to work :Monday : Morning, Afternoon, EveningTuesday : Morning, Afternoon, EveningWednesday : Morning, Afternoon, EveningThursday : Morning, Afternoon, EveningFriday : Morning, Afternoon, EveningSaturday : Morning, Afternoon, EveningSunday : Morning, Afternoon, Evening2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role.Working rights required for this role.Expected start date for role : 01 January 2025.Expected salary : $100,000 - $130,000 per year.#J-18808-Ljbffr
