Cad Operator

We are currently seeking someone experienced in CAD who will be responsible for the review of cabinetry drawings including appliances, benchtops, and accessories based on design plans, site check information, documented contracts, and debrief forms. This includes the verification of measurements, compliance, costings, and the use of Kitchen Draw (KD) software as well as in-house systems to progress a job from sales level to production stage.This role will require liaison with customers, third-party contractors, and other key stakeholders of the business to ensure that all CAD matters are dealt with efficiently and effectively, ensuring the quality is correct and no defects arise past this point.DutiesLiaise with customers to ensure the job is progressed in a timely manner.Vet job files to ensure all information required is accurately recorded, as per the debrief form and contract.Correctly interpret designer drawings, edit, and draw plans in Kitchen Draw (KD) software system.Verify that all cabinets, bench-tops, accessories, and other components conform with dimensions given, and meet all relevant compliance.Determine if design edits are required and liaise accordingly with relevant parties.Liaise with sales staff, site checkers, and customer services to ensure jobs are progressed within acceptable time frames.Relay information between customers and other internal departments to ensure final sign-off plans meet customers' expectations.About YouArchitecture Drafting or Design Qualification or experience within the kitchen, renovation, or similar industry.3-dimensional AUTOCAD/Kitchen Draw/Cabinet Vision or similar proficiency.Excellent written/verbal communication, analytical and numeracy skills.Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
