Assistant Relationship Manager (Corporate Banking) - Bank of China MelbourneBank of China is seeking an energetic and highly motivated Assistant Relationship Manager / Relationship Manager (Corporate Banking) to join the Bank's Melbourne Branch.
This position is a One Year Term contract role, subject to review for an ongoing contract.
The primary responsibilities of this junior position will be corporate customer relationship management, business development and marketing, credit proposals preparation, and post-lending risk management.
You will collaborate with senior relationship managers to develop and manage the corporate & institutional banking portfolio.
Responsibilities: Assist to build and maintain client relationships: assist relationship managers to develop and nurture strong relationships with both existing and prospective clients, identifying their needs and aligning the Bank's solutions accordingly.Assist in business development and marketing work: conduct industry search and market financial information update to support business developments.
Collaborate with product teams to provide suitable products for clients.Credit paper preparation and analysis: guided by senior RM to conduct basic credit assessments for new credit paper or annual reviews, including the analysis of complex financial data.Adherence to policies and compliance: ensure strict compliance with credit policies, including ongoing client monitoring, as well as financial crime and regulatory compliance requirements.Facility documentation and negotiations: assist with instructing, negotiating, and executing client facility documentation, collaborating with internal and external legal teams as necessary.Portfolio service coordination: ensure administrative tasks are carried out efficiently, meeting both client expectations and internal reporting standards.To be considered, possessing the following skills and experience are essential: Bachelor degree or above in the relevant disciplines; CPA or CFA/FRM is preferred.Minimum of three years of Corporate Banking service or credit banking experience.
Basic understanding of key corporate banking products is required.Strong financial analysis skills and solid understanding of corporate lending business to assess the risks and returns of loans.Strong sense of responsibility and initiative, showing a proactive approach to work and striving for excellence in completing tasks and projects.Strong willingness toward continuous learning and professional development.Time Management: Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle competing priorities effectively.Language Skills: Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred.Only candidates with Australian PR or Citizenship will be considered.
