Job Title - Fire and Security EngineerLocation - Leeds, Sheffield, Harrogate, Huddersfield areasPackage -38,000 - 45,000 + Overtime, Standby, Call out (OTE 50K+)25 days holiday + bankTraining when requiredPension schemeAn awards programme that recognises outstanding contributionCompany vanCompany devices for work - Phone, laptopLots of overtime available and paid time and a halfJob Summary -Our client is a BAFE accredited industry-leading provider of Fire Protection and Security systems who have been established for over 30 years, looking for an experienced multi-disciplined fire and security engineer to join the growing company, serving customers of quality and prestige.ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Experience in Installation, commissioning, maintenance and fault finding of Fire and Security Systems for an NSI & BAFE registered company.Competent in the Installation, commissioning, maintenance and fault finding of Fire, Access control systems, Intruder alarms and CCTV systems.Competent on Conventional & Addressable fire systems including Advanced, Kentec, Ctec, Morley, Gent, Notifier Vesda etc.Experience in the use of associated fire and security software.Experience with intruder alarms with key experience in Galaxy, Texecom, Eaton etc.Experience with IP CCTV systems with key experience in Hikvision, Dahua, Axis and Avigilon etc.Experience with Access control systems with key experience in Paxton, ACT Vanderbilt, Grosvenor etc.Experience with emergency lighting.Must have working knowledge and experience of the current British Standards for fire systems, Intruder alarms, Access control and CCTV.Ability to diagnose, repair faults and propose solutions without supervision.Must be competent in IT related products for Security and Communication devices and computer literate in MS Office suite (preferably Word & Excel).Take part in the on-call rota.Share experience and knowledge with other team members.DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Qualifications/Experience in BS5839, BS50131, PD6662, BS60839, NCP109, BS8418, BS6276, NCP104 and BS5266/FIA Units preferable.Training plan provided to keep up with current standards and products.Proven IP experience.If you would like to know more about this position, please forward your CV to (url removed) immediately.
