Calvary Narracan Gardens - Support Worker Cleaner - Permanent Part-time Progress with purpose at one of Australia's largest health care providersGet ahead with salary packaging, benefits and professional development in a supportive team environmentPermanent part-time position located in our NewboroughAbout the role The Support Worker – Cleaning will support the delivery of a safe and clean living environment for residents and a work environment for staff in alignment with appropriate standards.
Your main duties will include:
Completion of cleaning tasks including mopping and vacuuming floors, carpet cleaning, damp dusting, cobweb removal, window cleaning, cleaning of toilets, bathrooms, resident rooms, public areas, offices, back of house, waste management, and at times external areas including outdoor furniture.Undertaking daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks as per the home's cleaning schedules and documenting completion of the scheduled tasks as required.Operating mechanical cleaning equipment such as carpet cleaning machines, steam cleaners, and hard floor scrubbers.Ensuring that all duties are performed in accordance with infection control and workplace health and safety requirements, including the safe storage and use of cleaning chemicals.About you Effective interpersonal communication; both written and verbalDemonstrated ability to prioritize workloadsCommitment to continuous quality improvementWorking knowledge of WH&S and Infection ControlExperience in cleaning tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, and dustingFor further information, please contact Sherylon.
