GenesisCare has a great opportunity for an experienced Clinical Trials Pharmacist to join our team based at our North Shore Clinic. As the Clinical Trials Pharmacist, you are responsible for providing specialist clinical pharmacy services to patients receiving treatment at Genesis Care medical oncology centres. This role requires you to participate in clinical pharmacy services, dispensary services, clinical trials and medicines information. You will also provide comprehensive counselling to patients and education of healthcare staff at various levels about medicines management, common interactions and appropriate medicines administration. We are looking for an innovative person to join our dynamic pharmacy team. Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team is essential. This is a full-time position on a maximum term contract through to 30/01/2026.More specifically, you will: Dispensing medication, including chemotherapy to patients Clinical review of treatment orders in MOSAIQ Approving chemotherapy orders for preparation or supply Releasing aseptically prepared products Inventory management Processing pharmacy invoices Providing medication counselling and participating in pre-admission clinics Active member in a multidisciplinary team Undertake and contribute to GenesisCare's governance activities through medication safety and Quality Use of Medicines e.g. drug use evaluation Ensure that all administration and documentation requirements are initiated and completed in a professional and timely manner We're interested in hearing from people who have: General unrestricted pharmacy registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Commitment to patient-focussed pharmacy practice Minimum of three years of clinical pharmacy experience, preferably in an oncology/haematology setting Excellent written, verbal and electronic communication skills Ability to co-ordinate clinical pharmacy services An ability to interact effectively with people from diverse culture Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility to work across all sites in the greater Sydney area Benefits of joining our team: Own your own development, learn everyday Take an active part in GenesisCare's growth globally Internal career development opportunities globally Thriving close-knit culture and communities An organisation that lives and breathe their key values The opportunity to work for one of the most influential healthcare providers Supportive environment with encouragement and challenge to live your highest potential both professionally and personally About GenesisCare By joining GenesisCare, you will be joining a highly progressive and passionate team of healthcare professionals and support staff, united by a common purpose: to design care experiences that deliver the best possible life outcomes.
