About the role:
Our Pilbara business is thriving, and as such we are on the lookout for a motivated and team-focused Mechanic (auto-electrician / diesel mechanic) to join our high-performing team.
This role will operate DIDO or FIFO from Perth to our sites within Pilbara.
As a mechanic at Orica, you will provide technical support and maintenance to all of Orica's fixed plant and mobile plant on site.

What you will be doing:
General servicing of all mobile and fixed plant and machinery; Schedule servicing, repairs, alterations, and breakdown maintenance.
Assist the Territory and Site Managers to manage a maintenance plan for the equipment at their site(s); Continually reassess risks associated with regional operation and maintenance processes taking appropriate corrective action as required; Providing field support for clients by performing training, reviews, and maintenance support on site; Participate in safety programs and promote safe work practices.
What you will bring:
Trade certification in either Heavy Road Transport, Auto Electrical or equivalent.
For HV Mechanics, auto electrical knowledge is advantageous.
Strong written and verbal communication, customer relation, and problem-solving skills; Ability to attain a Heavy rigid (HR) vehicle license.
Previous experience working on heavy vehicles (advantageous).
