The management team has been instrumental in the stability and growth of the business.Western Sydney location, with 2 days WFH, and parking on site.This role presents a rare opportunity with a clear pathway to Commercial Finance ManagerThe roleUnder the guidance and mentoring of an experienced, supportive Head of Finance, you will be responsible for the Financial and Tax Accounting and Analysis of a number of entities. You will also be involved in a range of projects, and assist with analysis and budget preparation.Month-end journals as required and the review and analysis of monthly resultsEnd-of-month reporting including the development of reports on areas within the groupManagement Reporting - Assist in preparation of tables and analysis of resultsContinuous process improvements and projects related to business improvementAssist with preparation of budgetProvide assistance to the Finance Manager in managing the day-to-day financial performance of the businessGST, FBT and Income Tax reporting and returnsGeneral Ledger maintenance and reconciliationManaging lodgment deadlines, and organising and maintaining records of tax paymentsBalance Sheet Reconciliation preparation and follow upConduct detailed analysis of actuals against budgets and provide detailed commentary to key stakeholdersTo be considered for this role you will need:Strong communication skillsCA/CPA qualification or almost qualifiedYou may be a business advisory & tax first time mover from a big4/mid-tier firm OR you are an experienced Senior Accountant with a background in financial accounting + tax, interested in a career path to Commercial FinanceIf this sounds like something you would be interested in, please apply now or email ******.
