Job Description A Career that lets your passion shine
Use your innovative capabilities to delight guests in their culinary experience Lead a team of passionate chefs to exceed guest expectations Showcase your creative patisserie flair creating sweet and savoury baked goods, as well as custom amenities and expressions Plan and present menus for a la carte desserts and banquet events Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in line with our HACCP certification Work closely with the Head Chef to ensure cost control and profitability of menu items Qualifications What you will bring to the role:
Qualified Pastry Chef with at least 5 years' experience High level of organisation skills Trade qualifications & strong technical knowledge Recent experience in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment Demonstrated experience in a bakery a la carte setting, producing plated desserts Commitment to 5-star quality and standards Strong leadership capabilities and experience leading a pastry team Available for 6 months full time, fixed term contract January – June 2025 Additional Information Thrive in our Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach community:
