Our Operations Division has a permanent opportunity for a Technical Trainer Specialist to be located at Rocklea and we are inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates.
About your new role: Working out of Rocklea as the Technical Trainer Specialist you will develop and deliver technical training and associated professional services for a range of technical trades including Electrotechnology, and post trade competencies to Energy Queensland employees and external customers.
Working closely with the Technical Training & Apprentice group, you will create structured learning programs, provide individualised guidance and mentorship, and engage in continuous learning.
In this multifaceted role, your technical guidance and supervision of peers and participants will be a mix of blended learning and training and assessment activities, across one or more areas of specialisation.
You will be partnering across the business to achieve and improve key performance indicators, ensuring a high level of customer and employee satisfaction and retention.
The remuneration for your new role is from $152K – 162K plus 14.75% superannuation for a 9-day fortnight and from $172k -$183K plus 14.75% superannuation for a 10-day fortnight.

You will have the ability to deliver professional and effective technical trade and post-trade training for internal and external customers.
Additionally, you will maintain and extend current knowledge of industry developments and job relevant skills and professional practices to ensure areas of specialisation are continually improved.
Critical to your success in the role is your:
Essential: Relevant trade (Certificate III) qualifications in Electrical Supply Industry Distribution/Transmission or Electrical Engineering/Electrotechnology.QLD recognised Electrical Workers License (Electrical Fitter/Mechanic, Linesperson or Cable Jointer).Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.Desirable: Relevant post-trade (Certificate IV or higher) qualifications in Electrical Supply Industry Distribution/Transmission or Electrical Engineering/Electrotechnology.What matters most to us is our values, We're Safe – We Belong - We Grow - We Deliver.
