Vehicle And Concrete Equipment Specialist

Reporting to the Operations Manager at Jacon Equipment & Comet Equipment, this position will be primarily responsible for working with aftermarket support for technical needs for utility vehicles, concrete pumping equipment, concrete transportation equipment, stackers, and water tanks for mobile equipment nationally and sometimes internationally.
We encourage all trades that wish to learn to apply as we will train you. This role will involve the excitement of being involved with new equipment going to market and supporting the current fleet operationally.
The position does involve travel to mine sites, civil construction sites, and other areas where our equipment operates.
The expectation of this role is to develop higher-skilled activities for equipment commissioning, troubleshooting, and fault diagnosis.
Predelivery work and service on occasions will be needed.
There is also an active hire fleet where pre-hire and de-hire inspections are needed, as well as on-site support.
Key responsibilities: This role is active with 60-70% field exposure.Provide technical support to customers, both internal and external.Advise and give feedback to the factory based on customer feedback.Conduct training for clients and commissioning of equipment.Perform repairs and maintenance based on requests from customers.Provide on-site support for the hire fleet.Complete pre-hire and de-hire inspection reports for equipment.Conduct testing, adjusting, and fault-finding diagnostics.Perform root cause analysis of parts that are failing in the field, along with inputs and advice on warranty claims.Liaise with the sales team, factory engineering, supply chain, and customers regarding our products.Install modification kits and check installation instructions from the factory.Plan, audit, and make recommendations on best practice site maintenance programs.Build training material.Perform other duties as required.The position is based in Sydney, Newcastle, or Brisbane; however, flexibility is available for the right candidate.
