Make a difference in a NFP that supports military veterans and their familiesBelong to a friendly & supportive teamAbove Award salary + super & salary packaging benefitsLocated at our 90 bed older persons home in BundooraAbout the Role The Personal Care Worker will provide quality, resident-centred personal care that supports each individual to achieve their cultural, emotional, physical, social and spiritual goals during daily living activities.
The shifts we are currently recruiting to are night shifts 21:45 - 07:15 Week 1: Tue & Fri and Week 2: Tue & Wed About you To be successful in this role you will be kind, relationship-oriented and take pride in your work.
You will be able to work as part of an effective team to deliver and support excellent care.
You must have:
Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalentExperience providing personal care experience, preferably in a residential settingWillingness to undergo a National Police Check and provide proof of the right to work in AustraliaYou will be able to:
Work night shifts 21:45 - 07:15 Week 1: Tue & Fri and Week 2: Tue & WedWork co-operatively as part of a team and follow instructions from appropriate supervisorEffectively manage time and organise workloadUse an electronic documentation system and undertake documentationComply with Vasey RSL Care's infection prevention and control procedures including bare below the elbows policy and to wear clothing compatible with safe manual handling requirements of the roleWe recognise the rich diversity of people across Australia.
