These full-time positions operate Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work.
Role Overview:Setting up and operating various drilling methods, including: Solid Stem Auger Drilling / Sonic Drilling to depths of up to 100mContinuous sampling using windowless sampling equipmentConcrete coringIn situ testing, such as Standard Penetration Tests (SPT) and undisturbed push tubesConduct regular maintenance and repairs on drilling rigs and associated equipment to ensure optimal performanceAssist in the installation of new drilling equipment and systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulationsDiagnose and resolve mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtimeProvide on-site support during drilling operations, including equipment setup, operation, and dismantlingMaintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirementsGroundwater standpipe and vibrating wire piezometer installationsEnsuring geotechnical logging meets industry standards (AS1726)Ideal Candidates:Drill Fitters with mechanical knowledge and experience in maintaining or repairing drilling rigs or similar equipment.
Specifically looking for experience in the Geotechnical FieldOffsiders with manual labour experience in the construction or drilling sectors are well-suited for this role.Geotechnical Drillers with direct drilling experience in the geotechnical, environmental, or civil sectors will be highly regarded.
Candidates with experience in the geotechnical engineering field.Minimum Qualifications for Drillers, Offsiders & Drill Fitters:Valid car driving licenceOH&S Construction Induction Card (White Card)Desirable Qualifications (for Drillers and Drill Fitters):Unrestricted MR or HR Truck LicenceExcavator Licence with relevant experiencePrior experience in Geotechnical drilling will be highly regardedIf you're seeking a rewarding role with a company that values its employees and fosters development, please send your updated resume to .
